Should we be timing these logic challenges?

I have recently found these Logic Challenges and I'm finding them rather frustrating because I was timing them. I then noticed that these are especially hard. I can definitely come to the right results if I have enough time but when I time them they seem impossible. Is there a certain time to shoot for for each of these or are they just there to help you identify strengths and weaknesses?
